Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance appoints global CHRO
Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has promoted David Lee (pictured, left) to global chief human resources officer, overseeing HR functions for the company's worldwide insurance operations.
Lee joined BHSI in 2022 as global head of talent acquisition and has over 30 years of experience in HR, primarily with large international organisations. He succeeds Kim Briones, who is retiring after establishing BHSI's HR function from the company's founding in 2013.
Admiral Group appoints group CFO
Admiral Group confirmed that Group CFO Geraint Jones will retire in July 2026, transitioning to a part-time advisory role, and Rachel Lewis (pictured, centre) will succeed him.
Lewis, currently CFO for Admiral’s UK insurance business, has extensive experience in financial strategy, cost management, and regulatory compliance, including IFRS17 implementation.

Mead brings 18 years of industry experience and practical knowledge as a former business owner, supporting tailored coverage for sectors including property, construction, hospitality, retail, and motor trade.
