Global insurance and risk markets continue to see significant leadership movement and strategic hires across carriers, MGAs, networks and insurtechs. Below is a consolidated round-up of key recent people moves and leadership announcements.

Allianz Commercial strengthens Iberia leadership

Allianz Commercial has appointed Guy Money (pictured, left) as regional managing director for Iberia and a member of the board of Allianz Seguros (Spain), effective March 1, 2026, subject to regulatory approval.

Money is currently global head of multinational at Allianz Commercial, having joined Allianz in 2020 and holding several senior leadership roles since then. Prior to Allianz, he worked at AXA, where he was group head of liability lines.

In his new roles, Money will lead Allianz’s commercial insurance activities for small- and medium-sized companies, large corporations and specialty risks in Spain and Portugal, and will be based in Madrid. He will succeed Agustín de la Cuerda, who will move to a new position to be confirmed in the coming weeks. De la Cuerda joined Allianz in 1994 and has held leadership positions in Spain, Portugal and Latin America.

To ensure a smooth transition, de la Cuerda will continue in his current roles at Allianz Commercial and Allianz Seguros until Money takes up his new position in March.

“Agustín has played a key role in our company for many years. His leadership has made an important contribution to strengthening our business in Spain. I would like to thank him for his commitment and valuable contribution," said Veit Stutz, CEO of Allianz Seguros (Spain). "Now, with Guy joining the team, we will continue to grow our SME and corporate business, supported by his experience in the multinational segment as we further expand our presence in Spain.”

CyberCube confirms CEO succession following growth and funding phase

Methven joined CyberCube in April 2020 as chief growth officer. He brings deep knowledge of the business and culture, as well as a strong understanding of its products, clients and long-term ambitions. Prior to working at CyberCube, Methven was chief revenue officer for supply chain risk analytics business Achilles.

Commenting on his appointment as CEO, Methven said: “I’m honoured to be taking on the role of CEO at such an exciting time for the business.
