Castlebridge Risk Solutions, a new commercial insurance broker set to launch on June 3, has announced strategic partnerships with Cornerstone Finance Group and Imperial Chartered.
The broker will act as a commercial insurance provider for clients of both firms, which operate nationally across a broad spectrum of financial services.
The partnerships bring together Castlebridge with two fast-growing firms offering services ranging from commercial property and bridging loans to mortgages, pensions and investments.
Castlebridge was founded by insurance professionals Tim Grant and James Dunsby, who will lead the firm in delivering tailored commercial insurance services to clients of Cornerstone and Imperial Chartered.
As part of its operating model, Castlebridge will serve as an Appointed Representative of Momentum Broker Solutions. This structure is designed to combine the flexibility of a start-up with the operational support of an established broker network.
Castlebridge noted that it intends to take a consultative approach to risk, integrating advice and technology to help clients anticipate exposures in advance. The broker’s relationship with Cornerstone and Imperial Chartered will allow it to engage with a broad base of commercial clients across the UK, including SMEs, buy-to-let landlords, and larger real estate businesses.
Gareth Morgan (pictured above), co-founder of both Cornerstone and Imperial Chartered, said that providing strong client service remains key to the growth of both firms.
“James and Tim’s track record, capabilities and commitment make Castlebridge the perfect commercial insurance broker for our growing client base. I speak on behalf of everyone here when I say how excited we are to be able to offer such a wealth of expertise to our valued clients,” Morgan said.
The company was incorporated on January 23, and is registered at Unit E Copse Walk, Pontprennau, Cardiff. Initially named Castle Bridge Risk Solutions Ltd, the company underwent a name change to Castlebridge Risk Solutions Ltd in February.
In the broader UK insurance landscape, several other broker initiatives have emerged recently. The Jensten Group launched the Jensten Network in March, aiming to support insurance professionals and independent brokers with flexible opportunities for business growth.
