Broadway Insurance Partners has announced the appointment of Lauren Winstanley (pictured) as group development director as it strengthens its leadership team as the firm expands across the UK.
In her new role, Winstanley will drive growth of both direct and indirect business across the group, including the development of strategic ambassadorships and partnerships.
Winstanley joined Broadway Insurance Partners in 2022 as a client executive, advising high-net-worth individuals and families across the North of England. She later moved to the corporate division, where she advised organisations with large and complex domestic and international risk requirements.
She brings 24 years of industry experience to the role, combining technical expertise with a commercial approach.
“I am delighted to congratulate Lauren on her latest role within the firm. She is both commercially and technically strong and has spent the last four years growing an impressive network of professional connections, including key centres of influence across the region,” said Daniel Lloyd-John, founder and chief executive of Broadway Insurance Partners.
“Lauren is incredibly hardworking and demonstrates all the key characteristics associated with success in broking, including emotional intelligence, empathy, and a genuine team spirit. Her appointment is thoroughly deserved, and I look forward to seeing her continue to make a significant impact across the group.”
The move comes during a period of strong performance for Broadway Insurance Partners. The group recently reported 66% growth in gross written premium in its latest results. Policy count and total value of assets under cover also rose significantly year‑on‑year.
The firm also recently expanded its senior leadership team with appointments including a director of risk protection and a managing partner for its new Lancashire office, part of a broader strategy to deepen its regional presence.
