Under the new arrangement, BNP Paribas will deliver asset servicing and reporting solutions through its NeoLink client platform. NeoLink integrates the bank’s applications, fintech services, artificial intelligence, and omni-channel connectivity to create customised dashboards and analytics.
The onboarding process for Allianz UK has been completed. Ying Ye, chief investment officer for Allianz UK, said, “We appointed BNP Paribas as the sole custodian bank for the UK investment accounts, and recently completed the onboarding process. BNP Paribas have been supportive throughout, and we look forward to a strong partnership.”
BNP Paribas Securities Services manages US$17.5 trillion in assets under custody. The company says that the platform is intended to support more effective investment decision-making for Allianz.
In recent months, Allianz UK has also made several notable leadership appointments within its commercial division. Adam Lloyd was named chief underwriting officer, while Claire Buck took on the newly created role of chief technical officer.
The company has also implemented broader leadership changes, including the appointment of Phuong Ly as commercial managing director UK and Mitch Bennett as head of claims for large-corp and specialty. Ly leads the commercial insurance business across digital, mid-market, and large-corporate segments, while Bennett is responsible for claims services for large corporate and specialty customers.
In addition to changes within the UK business, Allianz Partners has announced several senior appointments in its international health line. Alex Bender has been named head of client and broker relationship management, while Patrick Lawlor is now head of sales and distribution for the UK, Ireland, and Northern Europe.
