Allianz has signed tennis world number two Jannik Sinner as a global brand ambassador in a multi-year partnership, strengthening the insurer's bet on sports as a growth and engagement platform.
Under the deal, Allianz will become an official partner of Sinner, adding a global tennis star to a sports portfolio that already includes long-term ties to FC Bayern München and the Olympic and Paralympic Movements.
Tennis is a natural target for Allianz: the sport counts around 300 million fans worldwide and ranks as the second-most popular sport behind football across Allianz's priority markets. The group is banking on that reach to connect with its consumers and distribution partners.
The partnership’s tagline, “We’re here to serve”, is intended to capture the unified spirit of Allianz and Sinner and will front global brand campaigns. The collaboration also includes Allianz support for The Jannik Sinner Foundation, backing programmes that use education and sport to give children opportunities for growth, health and future success.
"I am delighted to announce this partnership with Allianz. Over the years I have learned that success in sport, as in life, is forged through resilience, preparation, and the willingness to push yourself beyond your comfort zone," Sinner said. "A strong team drives every achievement – they push and support me, working hard day after day in order to improve both on and off the court. I know Allianz shares that vision, and I look forward to building a collaboration with them, especially through the partnership with my Foundation.”
According to the company, the core of the Allianz-Sinner partnership is shared values of resilience and excellence. Allianz is explicitly linking those traits to its own narrative of helping people and organisations navigate “defining moments”, protect their futures and build confidence in tomorrow.
"We're thrilled to partner with Jannik, whose values of authenticity, resilience, and excellence mirror our own," said Allianz SE CEO Oliver Bäte. "This collaboration enhances our established sports partnerships and underscores our dedication to nurturing the potential of the next generation, empowering children and youth to face a changing world with confidence and optimism."
Sinner heads into 2026 after a standout 2025 season in which he won six titles, including the Australian Open, Wimbledon and the ATP Finals, and reached the final at all four Grand Slams. Allianz joins a high-end endorsement portfolio that already features Rolex, Nike, Gucci, Lavazza and Explora Journeys.
