BrokerLink is ending the year with the addition of four Alberta-based brokerages, namely, Excel &Y/Lundgren & Young Insurance, AUVI Insurance Brokers Corporation, Sceptre Pointe Insurance, and Bentley Agencies.
These acquisitions, which took effect Dec. 1, strengthen BrokerLink's Western Canada footprint and enhance its ability to provide personal and commercial insurance solutions across local communities.
Excel &Y/Lundgren & Young Insurance has served Calgary and the surrounding areas for over 40 years, offering expert advice and comprehensive coverage. AUVI Insurance, with 18 years of operations, has built its business on customer trust and referrals, focusing on delivering reliable insurance solutions. Sceptre Pointe Insurance, founded in 2016, emphasizes a relationship-driven approach, combining big-city capabilities with a small-town feel. Bentley Agencies, operating since 1974 in Bentley and nearby communities, provides tailored insurance offerings and actively supports local events, including the Bentley Rodeo.
Employees from all four brokerages will remain in their communities under the BrokerLink umbrella, ensuring continuity of service for clients, the company said. This approach reinforces BrokerLink’s commitment to local expertise while providing brokers access to broader resources and support systems, including advanced underwriting tools, claims support, and access to specialized insurance products.
The acquisitions are expected to expand BrokerLink’s ability to offer a wider range of coverage options for both personal and commercial clients, from small business liability and property insurance to specialized commercial lines.
By integrating these brokerages, clients in Alberta can benefit from improved service, faster response times, and access to risk management advice tailored to local market conditions, all backed by the resources of a national brokerage network.
Throughout 2025, BrokerLink expanded across Canada, including entry into British Columbia, and has consistently offered succession solutions for principals looking to secure the future of their businesses and employees. Michael Stack, BrokerLink’s VP of Acquisitions, said 2025 was a milestone year for the company’s acquisition strategy, expressing gratitude to the principals who entrusted their teams and clients to BrokerLink and emphasizing the company’s goal of continuing growth and momentum in 2026.
These acquisitions highlight BrokerLink’s strategic focus on maintaining high standards of service while strengthening its market position, supporting brokers with professional development opportunities, and providing clients with broader access to comprehensive insurance solutions in Alberta and beyond.
