If there’s one issue that has thrust itself to the forefront of conversations among insurance professionals, whether they be brokers, underwriters or the insurers themselves, over the last year or so, it’s the increased emphasis being placed on risk mitigation amid a combination of the pandemic and a rapidly hardening market.
 
With rates rising and insurers being more selective over the cover they offer, the pressure is on to reduce the level of risk associated with each insured. But where do you get started on risk management? And amid a surge in new technologies, what does the future of risk management look like?
