NIBA is busy engaging with regulatory reforms — including to the voluntary Code governing brokers. At its Convention in October, NIBA president Nick Cook warned that government informed-consent requirements are adding to an already crowded compliance agenda, leaving brokers asking whether this latest reform helps clients, or just piles on process.
