Ausure Insurance Brokers Brisbane has acquired CoverPlus Financial Services, another Brisbane based firm and authorised representative (AR) in the Ausure network. According to an Ausure media release, the deal involved the purchase the CoverPlus client portfolio and followed the retirement of principal, Craig Shanley (main picture).
The CoverPlus LinkedIn page says it specialises in advice and cover for SMEs “in a wide range of commercial, transport, retail and professional industries.”
“After over a decade of working with local businesses and individuals, the time has come for me to retire,” said Shanley. “I’ve worked alongside the Ausure group for many years and I know my clients will be in excellent hands.”
The release said Shanley is stepping back from daily operations but will support the transition process.
“I look forward to supporting Ausure behind the scenes and ensuring this handover is as smooth as possible,” he said.
Ausure is part of the Steadfast Group and describes itself as one of Australia’s largest insurance broking companies with more than 240 ARs.
