Ausure is preparing to host its annual Emerging Talent Day on Oct. 16 at SafetyCulture’s Sydney headquarters.
Now in its third year, the event is part of Ausure’s broader strategy to develop future leaders within the insurance sector, focusing on employees under 35 from across its national operations.
The program is designed to support career progression by offering a series of workshops and presentations centred around the theme of Effective Communication & Storytelling.
Participants will have the opportunity to enhance their communication techniques, learn negotiation methods, and receive updates on industry products and trends from Ausure’s key partners.
The event also encourages networking among peers and engagement with senior leaders, who will share perspectives on leadership and long-term success in the insurance industry.
Adam Sloan, general manager of business development, emphasised the company’s approach to staff development.
“We believe in investing in our people, not just through technical training but by building the soft skills and mindset needed to lead,” he said. “Emerging Talent Day is one of the most energising days on the Ausure calendar and a clear reflection of how serious we are about developing our next generation.”
The event is open to staff in broking, claims, support, and placement roles, with attendance capped at 40 to ensure interactive sessions and meaningful discussions.
The day will conclude with an informal networking event, providing additional opportunities for relationship-building among participants.
Rebbecca O’Rourke, claims team leader, noted the broader impact of the initiative.
“It’s more than a training day – it’s a culture-building initiative,” she said. “You walk out of the room feeling inspired, connected, and empowered to lead with purpose.”
In a separate development, Ausure has finalised the integration of Coastsure Insurance Brokers, which now operates under the name Ausure Insurance Brokers Gold Coast.
This follows the completion of Ausure’s acquisition of Coastsure in late 2024, consolidating its presence in the Gold Coast region.
The rebranding brings together the former Coastsure team and the existing Ausure Gold Coast office under a single operational structure.
Coastsure had previously been an authorised representative of Ausure for more than a decade.
Ausure has stated that clients will continue to be served by their existing contacts, with no changes to policies or agreements.
The company said the rebrand is aimed at aligning with its national identity, rather than changing the way services are delivered.
The merger is expected to provide clients with access to a wider range of insurance products, enhanced technology, and additional internal support.
These initiatives follow the Ausure 2025 Conference, which took place at The Star Gold Coast from Feb. 23 to 25.
The event brought together over 300 delegates, sponsors, and staff for discussions on business development, regulatory changes, and industry trends.
The conference provided a platform for professional networking and highlighted Ausure’s ongoing focus on staff development and national growth.
