Global credit insurance provider Atradius has appointed Bart Poublon (pictured) as director of risk services for Asia and Oceania. The promotion expands Poublon’s responsibilities and adds him to the company’s leadership team.
According to a news release, Poublon previously served as head of risk services for the Asia-Pacific region since joining Atradius’ Asia team in 2005. His new role will oversee risk management operations across Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East as the company focuses on growth and transformation initiatives.
“Having worked closely with Bart for over a decade, I’ve witnessed his results-driven mindset, agility in driving change, and ability to lead high-performing teams,” said Eric den Boogert, managing director for Asia. “His promotion is a testament to the immense value he brings to our business and stakeholders.”
Den Boogert highlighted Poublon’s contribution to the company’s regional performance, stating: “Bart has consistently contributed to our profitable growth in Asia. His expanded scope will further enhance our capabilities across the region, including the Middle East, as we continue to focus on growth, transformation, and customer excellence.”

Atradius operates as a global provider of credit insurance, bond and surety services, collections and information services.
Poublon brings more than 20 years of experience in trade credit insurance to his new role. He joined Atradius in 2001 and has held senior positions in risk services, claims, and recoveries across multiple international markets.
Poublon’s career has spanned operations in France, the United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, and Hong Kong, where he has been based since 2012. His international experience across diverse markets positions him to lead the region’s risk strategy as Atradius expands its presence.
Atradius is a member of GCO, one of Spain’s leading insurance companies and among the world’s largest credit insurers.
