Three senior appointments have been announced across the UK insurance market in the last day.

RSA strengthens e-Trade leadership
RSA, part of Intact Financial Corporation, has appointed Becky Henry as vice president, eTrade for its UK Commercial Lines business. She will oversee all SME electronically traded products and propositions.

Henry (pictured above, left) has been with RSA for 26 years, most recently as commercial lines trading & operations director. Her appointment comes as RSA continues to invest in e-trading, positioning it as a key growth channel ahead of its transition to the Intact Insurance brand later this year. The insurer sees digital trading as central to improving broker service, expanding product choice, and competing in a market where speed and ease of access to cover are becoming critical.

Open GI adds product leadership
In the technology space, Open GI has named Phil Evans to the newly created role of product director. He will focus on aligning Open GI’s product portfolio with customer needs while identifying new opportunities in the fast-changing insurtech landscape.

Evans (pictured above, right) joins from Applied Systems, where he spent six years building and leading the European product team. His earlier career at SSP included engineering and leadership roles across rating services, APIs, and insurer integrations. He is also active on the Insurtech UK advisory panel, supporting companies expanding into the US and Canadian markets.

His appointment underlines Open GI’s ambition to cement its role as a specialist technology partner to insurers and brokers, at a time when investment in digital distribution and data-driven solutions is accelerating across the sector.

McGill and Partners hires heavyweight CFO
McGill and Partners has appointed Mike Reynolds as group CFO, subject to regulatory approval. Reynolds joins from Oneglobal, where he served as group CEO for five years, and brings nearly three decades of experience including senior leadership roles at JLT Re, JLT Group, ACE Europe, and Aon Benfield.

Founded in 2019 with backing from Warburg Pincus, McGill and Partners has achieved compound annual growth of over 20% in the last three years, entirely organically. Reynolds’ arrival comes as the broker looks to consolidate its position as one of the fastest-growing firms in the specialty market. He succeeds Dominic Mignon, who will step down next year after three years as CFO.
