The insurance industry is seeing a wave of leadership changes, with a number of firms strengthening their management teams as they position for growth in increasingly competitive markets.
Evolution Claims Management expands operations team
West Midlands-based Evolution Claims Management has appointed Matt Stockton as head of operations to lead its claims team.
Stockton (pictured above, left) joins from Innovation Group, where he oversaw property services and subsidence claims, as well as managing general perils operations. His move comes as Evolution continues to grow its client base among leading UK insurers through its transparent fixed-fee model and technology-led approach.
The company has doubled its workforce since 2020, recently relocating to larger offices to accommodate expansion.
Arch Insurance bolsters construction portfolio
Arch Insurance International has named Kevin Lumiste as senior construction underwriter in London.
Reporting to Tim Chapman, head of construction, Lumiste will focus on developing Arch's global construction portfolio and enhancing delivery for brokers and clients.
Towergate strengthens employee benefits consulting
Towergate Employee Benefits has appointed Dasha Ivanova as client director, where she will oversee strategic corporate relationships and support clients in benefits strategy and delivery.

Allianz Benelux realigns for growth

Allianz Benelux is reshaping its leadership team to accelerate its P&C business while supporting growth across Life, Health, and Wealth.
A new chief P&C officer role has been created, with Jeroen den Tex (pictured immediately above, left) appointed to lead underwriting, claims and technical excellence across the region. He previously served as country president at Chubb Benelux. Meanwhile, Heidi Cortois (pictured immediately above, right) will take up the role of chief sales officer in Belgium in October, bringing experience from NN Belgium, Crelan and Marsh & McLennan.
These changes mark a significant step in the Allianz Commercial integration, aimed at streamlining operations and strengthening broker engagement across Benelux markets.

UK MGA Commercial Express has appointed Paul Webley as director of sales and distribution, joining its senior leadership team in November.
Webley has held senior roles at Towergate, Arista, Arch Insurance UK, and most recently, Ashley Page Insurance Brokers. He will lead key account management, sales and marketing functions as the MGA works toward doubling its gross written premium by 2028 and transitioning into an MGU.
