European boutique MGA Alta Signa has appointed Cédric Denysiak as country manager for France, effective October 1, 2025. The appointment reflects the firm's strategy to expand across specialty lines in one of Europe's most competitive markets with broker opportunities.
Alta Signa CEO Gerard van Loon said France remains a critical market for financial lines, cyber and marine. He noted that brokers and clients increasingly look for MGAs that combine responsiveness, technical expertise, and local market knowledge. Denysiak’s track record in managing relationships with global brokers and large clients is expected to be central to the firm’s growth ambitions in France.
Commenting on his new role, Denysiak highlighted the rapid changes facing the French specialty market. With heightened regulatory scrutiny on directors’ and officers’ liability, cyber risks, and other financial lines, demand for tailored solutions continues to grow.
He also said MGAs are well positioned as agile and knowledgeable partners for brokers and carriers, able to provide quicker decision-making and customised coverage.
Denysiak’s appointment comes as MGAs are gaining stronger recognition in France and across Europe for their role in bridging insurers and brokers in specialist lines.
As regulatory pressures mount and client exposures evolve, local expertise and technical capabilities are increasingly vital. Alta Signa’s move signals a commitment to consolidating its footprint in France while responding to shifting client needs in a tightening specialty insurance landscape.
