Puasiri joins from ERGO Insurance Thailand, where she has served as head of product management since July 2025. Prior to that role, she was head of underwriting strategy and reinsurance at the same company from January 2024 to June 2025.
Before joining ERGO, Puasiri spent more than two decades at Nam Seng Insurance, where she worked as a non-life insurance specialist from January 2003 to August 2023. Her responsibilities there included insurance operations and local market expertise.
Puasiri has also maintained a part-time position as a lecturer at King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok since January 2013. Her academic work focuses on non-life insurance principles and executive management.
She holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in business administration and management from Ramkhamhaeng University. Puasiri also earned a Master of Business Administration from Nottingham University Business School and a master's degree in commerce from UNSW Business School.
Her academic credentials include a diploma of education from the University of Exeter Business School and a bachelor's degree in political science and government from Kasetsart University.

The appointment comes as Munich Re pursues its Ambition 2030 strategic plan. The reinsurer is targeting IFRS net profit of €6.3 billion for 2026 and €5.4 billion in reinsurance profit, with a combined ratio target of 80% in property-casualty reinsurance.
In Q3 2025, Munich Re reported a net result of €1.997 billion, more than double the €907 million recorded in the same period of 2024.
Munich Re's Thailand representative office serves as the reinsurer's point of contact in the local market. The office works with insurers in the country on reinsurance matters and supports the company's regional strategy.
