Lockton Re has appointed Lisa Hannah (Sagnella), GBDS (pictured above), as a broker on its accident, health and life team.

She joins the firm’s Philadelphia office, where she will focus on supporting clients across the health and benefits reinsurance sector.

Hannah brings nearly a decade of experience in employee health and benefits, most recently serving as a senior financial consultant at Trion Group, a Marsh McLennan Agency company. In that role, she conducted financial analysis and strategic modeling for hospital systems, public sector organizations, and large multi-employer clients.

Prior to her most recent position, Hannah worked as a health benefits analyst at Segal Consulting, where she supported actuarial and consulting teams with data analysis and reporting. Her early career experience includes internships and academic roles at Fordham University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in applied mathematics.

Hannah holds a Group Benefits Disability Specialist (GBDS) designation from The National Underwriter Company and a Life, Accident & Health producer license issued by the Pennsylvania Insurance Department.

Other appointments for Lockton Re

Last month, the reinsurance broker also named James Dickerson as head of retrospective reinsurance and legacy solutions within its capital advisory practice. He is based in the firm’s London office.

Dickerson joined Lockton Re from Gallagher Re, where he served as global head of retrospective solutions since 2021. His prior experience includes senior roles at Willis Re, RPC, WTW, and EMB Consulting, having started his career at Capita.

In March, Lockton Re also expanded its leadership team with two key appointments in London and Brazil, reinforcing its specialty and Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) reinsurance capabilities.

Tom Meyer joined Lockton Re as head of the specialty division in London, taking over from Paul Upton, who will transition to chairman of the division.

In Brazil, Rodrigo Botti joined Lockton Re as treaty country head, based in São Paulo, as part of the LAC team.
