The Fidelis Partnership (TFP) has named Mark Khan as head of broker relationships, a newly created role focused on executing the firm's broker strategy and supporting new business development.

Khan brings more than 35 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry, with a background spanning broking, leadership, and relationship management. He most recently served as broker relationship leader at Ki, where he directed broker-facing engagement for Lloyd's Syndicate 1618.

Prior to Ki, Khan spent 17 years at Marsh as a senior vice president, leading new business development for North American property. He also held broking and leadership positions at Aon over a 16-year period.

In his new role, Khan will be responsible for generating and growing new business by supporting underwriters in managing their broker relationships. He will work across both TFP and the MGAs operating on the firm's Pine Walk platform.

Pine Walk has expanded significantly in recent years and now supports 16 active MGAs. The platform's gross written premium is projected to exceed $1.2 billion in 2025, up from $900 million in 2024.

In 2025 alone, Pine Walk launched three new underwriting entities: Novagen, Seraphina, and Silverflame Re, as well as Imala Re, a Miami-based MGA focused on Latin American and Caribbean treaty reinsurance.

Khan will be based in London and will report to Michael Davern, TFP's UK chief underwriting officer and group head of D&F property, energy, and construction. His start date is February 2.

Davern said Khan's experience will support TFP's market position across its operating classes. "His extensive broker network and multi-decade experience driving broker strategies across international markets will prove invaluable as we continue to reinforce TFP's market position across all classes in which we operate," Davern said.

Khan said the role presents an opportunity to work alongside underwriters at TFP and Pine Walk. "TFP's reputation for underwriting leadership and for nimble, creative solutions to the market's most critical capacity needs make this an incredibly exciting opportunity," Khan said.

He added that his experience as a broker has reinforced the value of clear communication and understanding of underwriting strategy. "As a broker for over three decades, I understand the importance of clarity of communication and understanding of an underwriter's strategy," he said.
