Insurance Business (IB) has published its Elite Women 2026 report for Asia-Pacific, identifying 70 female professionals working across insurance markets in Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. The annual list features women holding senior posts in underwriting, broking, distribution, risk, and related functions across the insurance sector.

Methodology focuses on the past 12 months

To assemble the 2026 cohort, IB opened nominations to insurance professionals throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Nominators were asked to detail their nominees’ work over the previous 12 months, including examples of business achievements, leadership responsibilities, and contributions to the wider market. The publication’s research team reviewed the submissions and assessed how each nominee had contributed to the industry during the period. Based on that review, the team finalised a group of 70 women for inclusion in the Elite Women 2026 list.

Selected professionals span Asia, Australia, and New Zealand

The 2026 Elite Women report features senior executives and managers from insurers, brokerages, and other insurance-related organisations across Asia-Pacific. Among those included this year are:

These individuals are part of the broader group recognised in the report for their roles in guiding teams, portfolios, and business lines within their respective organisations over the last year. The Elite Women list provides a cross-section of how female leaders are positioned within the region’s insurance ecosystem, from frontline distribution and client management to technical and operational roles.
