Insurance Business has identified the top-performing insurance carriers in claims handling for 2025, based on broker feedback from across Australia and New Zealand.
The annual recognition program involved a multi-stage research process that included collecting data from insurance brokers to understand what criteria define effective claims service.
Brokers were asked to evaluate insurers they had worked with in the past year, focusing on specific performance metrics such as responsiveness, technical expertise, and overall service standards.
The information gathered was used to assign scores across a weighted framework, allowing the research team to identify insurers that consistently met broker expectations in delivering claims outcomes. Those with the highest ratings received the 5-Star Claims Provider designation.
