Insurance Business has released its Global 100 list for 2026, recognizing 100 insurance professionals from six markets:

  • The United States
  • Canada
  • Australia
  • New Zealand
  • Asia-Pacific
  • The United Kingdom

Now in its seventh year, the Global 100 is intended to identify professionals that Insurance Business’s editorial and research teams view as having a measurable impact within their organizations and the wider insurance sector. The list spans brokers, carriers, underwriting agencies, claims organizations, and other market participants.

Methodology centers on leadership, market impact, and industry contribution

To compile the 2026 Global 100, Insurance Business drew on its ongoing engagement with industry leaders through daily news coverage, special reports, surveys, national award programs, and industry events across its six core markets. Editors and researchers reviewed the accomplishments of candidates over the past 12 to 18 months and assessed their influence using several criteria, including:

  • Leadership and innovation within their organization
  • Market impact, including growth, strategic direction, and product development
  • Contribution to the industry through advocacy, education, or association involvement
  • Efforts to advance the sector, such as diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives; public service; or work on emerging issues

The resulting list features 100 professionals that Insurance Business identified as helping to drive organizational performance, lead change programs, mentor talent, engage in policy discussions, or promote new approaches in insurance.
