Chubb Life Insurance New Zealand chief executive Paula ter Brake (pictured) has completed a three-month national tour meeting with more than 800 financial advisers across the country.

The series of events, branded Midwinter Connect, took place at 11 locations from Auckland to Invercargill and drew more than 800 advisers. Ter Brake, who stepped into the CEO role earlier this year, was joined by distribution head Chris Hand and other senior members of the company.

Ter Brake highlighted the critical importance of financial advisers and Chubb’s commitment to building partnerships with them.

“We’ve made it our focus to listen to feedback and worked hard to continuously improve our product and service offerings to meet the needs of advisers and their customers,” she said. “Our growth over the past few years is a reflection of the trust advisers place in us to be there for their customers when they need us most. We do not take this for granted.”

The tour, which began less than a month after she started, was aimed at outlining Chubb Life NZ’s priorities and engaging with advisers on industry issues. The company highlighted product development, service improvements, and adviser relationships as central themes of the discussions.

The series wrapped up in Invercargill in mid-August.
