Ilan Serman

Ilan serves as Regional President of Ontario where he supports Area Presidents and Producers growing their business in the province. Ilan also acts as the leader for our regional real estate practice. Prior to joining Gallagher, Ilan spent 25 years in increasingly senior positions at a global insurance broker in the US, UK and Canada, and six years as the risk manager for a US/Canada senior care company.

Ilan is a Director on the Board of Toronto Insurance Council. He has been a volunteer paramedic for more than 20 years and served on the Board of Directors of Hatzoloh Toronto, a volunteer medical response organization from 2015 – 2019.

Ilan graduated Magna Cum Laude from Columbia University in New York and has passed all three exams of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation.
