Chris McLean

Chris is a Managing Director and the National Leader of Aon Canada’s Construction & Infrastructure (“C&I”) practice. C&I, is a fully integrated specialty practice and is comprised of teams in eight offices across Canada and over 165 insurance and surety colleagues. 

As National Leader, Chris is responsible for client service, growth, and the financial performance of the practice. C&I is a global specialty practice at Aon and Chris is a member of the global leadership team led by the C&I Global Leader, James MacNeal. 

Chris started in the insurance industry in 2004 with Aon. Over his career, Chris has had a variety of roles and responsibilities. He has significant experience providing risk and performance advisory services working with national and global general contractors, national trade contractors, residential property developers and consultants. 

Chris’s expertise includes contractual risk allocation, large project engagements, public private partnership projects, owner-controlled insurance programs, design build and contractor-controlled insurance programs.
