The Centre for Study of Insurance Operations (CSIO) announced Wednesday the addition of four new members to its growing network: Insurative Solutions, PURE Insurance, Cemiar Inc., and Quotey Inc.
The move is expected to further accelerate the adoption of industry data standards and enhance efficiency across the Canadian property and casualty (P&C) broker channel.
The new members – two insurers and two vendors – plan to leverage CSIO’s technology standards to automate processes and streamline the flow of data, the centre said in a statement.
Insurative Solutions, which partners with brokers to offer personal insurance, plans to implement Data Standards to eliminate duplicate entry and boost broker efficiency.
Similarly, PURE Insurance, which serves high-net-worth families, will adopt the standards to "streamline the exchange of Policy Details with Broker Management Systems, improving efficiency and accuracy for brokers and their clients."
Cemiar Inc., an insurtech firm specializing in process automation using AI and APIs, aims to align its product, CemiarLink, with Data Standards to advance data exchange.
Finally, Quotey Inc., a commercial insurance software vendor, plans to collaborate on the development of Commercial Lines Data Standards to create a more seamless quoting experience for brokers.
Kathryn Sinclair, interim president at CSIO, welcomed the growth, stating, “Our members are integral to enhancing CSIO Data Standards and elevating broker connectivity through their valuable insights and expertise.
“We are pleased to welcome these new insurers and vendors and look forward to collaborating to transform the industry and drive success for CSIO members.”
New insurer members will also utilize CSIO's trusted digital technology solutions, including the CSIOnet platform for exchanging eDocs and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) messages, and the My Proof of Insurance solution, which enables the secure digital sending of eSlips to customers.
CSIO is Canada’s industry technology association representing P&C insurers, vendors, and over 43,000 brokers.
