The countdown is on. In just two weeks, the 17th Annual National Insurance Conference of Canada (NICC) will open its doors at the Hilton Lac-Leamy in Gatineau, QC, Sept. 17–19, 2025. With more than 500 senior executives, regulators, brokers, and global leaders in the property and casualty insurance industry already registered, NICC 2025 is shaping up to be one of the most impactful conferences to date.
Under the theme “Underwriters in a Dangerous Time”, this year’s agenda tackles the pressing challenges facing insurers today, from climate risk and supply chain disruption to global economic volatility and regulatory change. Delegates can look forward to thought-provoking keynote addresses, high-level panels, and unique networking opportunities that have become hallmarks of NICC.

“This year's conference’s outstanding agenda is testament to the work done by our amazing advisory committee” said, Nevina Kishun, MSA/NICC CEO. Adding, “I am particularly thrilled by our latest addition to the program namely the Munich Re & HSB Rising Star Awards”.
Joel Baker, vice-chairman of MSA/NICC said, “We are delighted that industry legend, Carol Jardine will take the helm as our Master of Ceremonies. Carol’s extensive experience and leadership in the insurance industry as well as her dedication to excellence and commitment to serving the community, will undoubtedly enrich our conference and inspire all attendees."
