Trinity Underwriting has appointed Cindy Ippolito as its new chief operating officer, effective March 5, 2025.
Ippolito brings more than 13 years of leadership experience in business process improvement, operations and team development to the role.
Before joining Trinity, Ippolito held senior leadership positions at Acrisure Re, including senior vice president and director of internal operations. Her extensive background in driving operational efficiency, leading cross-functional teams and mentoring emerging leaders is expected to significantly enhance Trinity’s efforts to streamline operations and scale its services.
“We are thrilled to welcome Cindy to the Trinity team,” said Michael McLachlan, president of Trinity Underwriting. “Her proven track record of improving operational processes and building high-performing teams aligns perfectly with our vision for growth and excellence. We are confident that Cindy’s leadership will play a pivotal role in helping us achieve our ambitious goals and continue to deliver innovative insurance solutions and exceptional client service.”
As COO, Ippolito will focus on driving operational excellence across the company, leveraging her expertise to ensure that Trinity continues to optimize its internal processes while expanding its service offerings. Her appointment is part of Trinity’s ongoing strategy to strengthen its leadership team as the company grows and adapts to the evolving insurance landscape.
Ippolito’s appointment comes at a time of continued expansion for Trinity Underwriting, a Canadian managing general agent specializing in providing tailored insurance solutions across a variety of industries, including technology, life sciences, and healthcare. The company is known for its in-house underwriting authority, which enables it to offer exclusive quotes and pass on savings to clients.
Trinity’s leadership team now includes Ippolito alongside other key members such as Michael McLachlan, Sarah Suschkov, chief underwriting officer, and Tiziana Seabrook, vice president of business development and sports, among others.
With Ippolito’s leadership, Trinity Underwriting aims to further enhance its operational efficiency and position itself as a leading player in the Canadian insurance market.
