Sedgwick has appointed Robert Lepine (pictured left) as regional vice president for Quebec and Atlantic Canada, and Melanie Mercier (pictured right) as manager in Quebec. Both will support the growth of the Sedgwick team in Canada.

Lepine has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry and has held senior leadership positions on both the insurance carrier and independent adjusting sides of the business, and will be responsible for managing and growing the Quebec and Atlantic Canada regions at Sedgwick.

Mercier brings over 20 years of experience as a claims adjuster and auditor to her new role at Sedgwick. She has significant expertise in training, mentoring, and quality assurance developed through past leadership positions.

“At Sedgwick, we have an opportunity to continue to set new standards for client service and claims excellence across Canada,” said Michael Alwyn, president at Sedgwick Canada.

“With the depth of experience Robert and Melanie now bring to our team, I am confident they will advance our focus on innovation, strengthen client relationships, and grow our business across Canada,” he added.

The appointments come after other recent leadership moves for Sedgwick Canada, including Stewart Kirkpatrick, who was appointed as executive general adjuster in early April, and Kumar Siva, who was appointed chief operating officer in February.
