Mitch Insurance has appointed Paul Harper (pictured) as its new president and chief operating officer. Harper will report to CEO Adam Mitchell and oversee day-to-day operations, allowing Mitchell to focus on long-term strategy, partnerships and sustainable growth initiatives.
Harper brings over 30 years of insurance industry experience, including nearly two decades as COO of multinational brokerage Direct Link Insurance Services (now part of Acrisure). In 2018, he founded Torex Consulting, providing strategic and operational guidance to brokerages across North America. His expertise spans operational excellence, technology integration, mergers and acquisitions, and profitability improvement.
According to Mitchell, Harper’s appointment positions the brokerage to take its next step forward in the Ontario market. Mitchell said Mitch Insurance has reached a stage where seasoned leadership is essential to elevate operations, enhance the client experience, and reinforce a culture of accountability.
Harper will focus on strengthening internal processes, advancing technology capabilities, and ensuring operational efficiency across the brokerage.
