Cabrella, a provider of technology-driven shipping insurance solutions, has formed a strategic partnership with Chit Chats, a Canadian shipping company focused on reducing cross-border and international shipping costs for businesses.

The collaboration aims to enhance Chit Chats’ shipping insurance program through improved claims handling and customer support.

The partnership introduces a customized insurance program developed by Cabrella, incorporating advanced claims filing systems and support services tailored to the needs of Chit Chats’ clients. This includes additional options for business shippers and expanded service features intended to simplify the claims process.

According to Benjamin Meskin, founder and CEO of Cabrella, the goal is to turn shipping insurance into a practical tool that supports business growth. “By integrating our technology, Chit Chats can provide its customers with streamlined claims management and a more responsive support experience,” he said.

Chit Chats offers logistics services to small and medium-sized Canadian businesses, enabling access to discounted shipping through a network of international carriers. The company said the new insurance framework aligns with its efforts to improve client experience in an increasingly competitive e-commerce environment.

Jenni Tran, lead for insurance programs and partnerships at Chit Chats, described the partnership as collaborative. “The Cabrella team is adaptable and responsive,” she said. “They recognize the importance of clear communication and reliable support — particularly when clients are managing insurance claims.”

The insurance program is intended to benefit Chit Chats customers by making the process of filing and resolving claims more transparent and efficient. Both companies also noted the relevance of these updates to businesses that rely on consistent delivery standards and need reliable insurance solutions to manage potential losses.

The collaboration reflects a broader trend of integrating technology into insurance and logistics processes, as shipping providers look to meet rising service expectations from online retailers and their customers.
