Beneva has announced a series of initiatives designed to strengthen its position in Canada's life insurance and financial services market, with product enhancements, digital tools and leadership appointments aimed at improving customer and advisor experience.

The insurer has revamped its term life insurance line, Term Plus, introducing features intended to provide greater flexibility and value. A new pricing structure positions the product among the lowest premiums in the market, while an improved exchange program allows partial conversions with term life transfers. In addition, a new savings reset guarantee has been added, offering additional stability for policyholders over time.

In its investment account business, Beneva has introduced the Enhanced 75/100 guarantee. The product extends death benefit protection at a competitive price, including automatic annual resets and a higher contribution age limit. The company said the guarantee is designed to address market volatility while supporting long-term investment objectives through globally diversified portfolios.

Meanwhile, to support distribution, Beneva continues to enhance its Mobile Office platform, first launched last winter. The digital tool streamlines administrative tasks for brokers and advisors by automating documentation, pre-filling client information and embedding compliance processes. The insurer said the improvements are intended to allow advisors to dedicate more time to client relationships and less to paperwork.

Beneva also announced several leadership appointments in its individual insurance and financial services division. Executive vice-president Lara Nourcy will be joined by Josephine Gurreri as vice-president, Actuarial and Distribution Network Compensation; Pier-Luc Grenon as vice-president, Client Relations and Partner Experience; and René Duchesne as vice-president, Operations. They will work alongside existing vice-presidents Michael Rogers and Chantal Auger.

Nourcy said the initiatives mark a new phase in Beneva’s strategy to align product innovation and operational efficiency with customer needs. She added that the changes aim to build stronger relationships with members and partners by simplifying processes and offering competitive, tailored solutions.
