After spending almost a decade working at one of Canada’s largest national insurance brokerages, Tyler joined the Navacord (formerly Lloyd Sadd) team in the summer of 2020 looking to further his passion for individualized insurance and risk management solutions. Specializing in the Transportation, Technology, and Energy sectors, Tyler is a both a practice leader at Navacord and a respected industry expert. In 2016, Tyler was recognized and selected by his peers as one of the top 50 industry professionals under 35 across Canada. Beyond industry experience, Tyler also brings a long list of educational accreditations including a Chartered Insurance Professional designation and Bachelor of Commerce degree. As a second generation broker, having grown up with a family that owned and ran a brokerage firm, Tyler thinks past just insurance and provides practical risk management advice encompassing all aspects of a businesses operations. Through his dedication to his clients, Tyler has proven himself as a partner & trusted advisor that his clients can rely on. He is passionate about the industries he specializes in and is dedicated to delivering the best insurance program possible year over year.

When Tyler is not at the office, he enjoys spending time with his family. An avid backcountry snowmobiler, Tyler frequents the mountains of BC in the winters. In the summer time, Tyler enjoys spending time at his lake lot – golfing, wakesurfing, and smoking all kinds of meals for his friends and family.
