Australian workplace risk and workers’ compensation advisory services provider PSC has consolidated its specialist units under a single brand, WorkRisk IQ, effective January 2026.

The rebrand brings together PSC Workers Compensation Services and PSC SafeX, combining workers’ compensation, injury management and safety consulting into one national advisory business.

According to chief executive officer Kirsty Roser, the consolidation reflects how the business has developed over time. She said the operation began in 2015 when PSC Insurance Brokers set up a dedicated workers’compensation service to help clients manage complex workplace risks.

“In 2018, the acquisition of WCS expanded the offering to include injury management services and the team grew to 11. The 2020 acquisition of SafeX further broadened the organisation’s capabilities, adding specialist safety consulting and deepening its ability to deliver comprehensive, endtoend support,” Roser said.

WorkRisk IQ now operates as a standalone advisory service with 40 specialists based across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Perth, Newcastle and Shepparton. The business is part of the Envest Group.

Roser said the launch of the new brand supports a more integrated way of working.

“Bringing these teams together under WorkRisk IQ allows us to deliver a more seamless, intelligent, and proactive approach to workplace risk. Our clients still receive the same trusted expertise - they now benefit from an even broader, more integrated capability designed to support safer, healthier, and more resilient workplaces,” Roser said.

The move comes as Australia’s workers’ compensation system continues to face pressure, with national data showing more than 146,000 serious workers’ compensation claims lodged in 2023–24. WorkRisk IQ says its team manages more than 1,000 claims each year and responds to over 2,500 workplace incidents across government and private sector clients. The business also reports that its staff bring a combined 430 years of experience in workplace insurance, risk and safety consulting.

The consolidation is supported by a new website, workriskiq.com.au, which outlines the combined services available under the WorkRisk IQ brand.
