The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) has released the list of finalists for the 21st annual Australian Insurance Industry Awards.
The event is set to be held on Aug. 21 at Sydney’s Star Event Centre.
Spanning 15 categories, the awards program acknowledges a broad spectrum of organisations and individuals from across the insurance ecosystem – including brokers, insurers, underwriting agencies, insurtechs, and service providers.
ANZIIF CEO Katrina Shanks said the event remains an important opportunity for the industry to reflect on its contribution and progress.
“The Insurance Industry Awards event is a timely opportunity to thank your team and recognise the unparalleled contribution our industry makes, as it continues to pursue excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction,” she said. “We are exceedingly proud to present the finalists for this year’s Australian Insurance Industry Awards. The awards announcement follows changes in ANZIIF’s board leadership earlier this year.
In May, Scott Leney was appointed board president, while Brendan Dunne assumed the role of deputy president.
Leney, who has worked with the institute throughout his career, said he is focused on contributing to ANZIIF’s long-term objectives.
Dunne supports the board’s strategy across the Australia–New Zealand region.
Katrina Shanks remains CEO, continuing to lead the organisation’s operational functions.
