Australian investment group Envest has announced a significant update to its leadership structure, including the introduction of a head of placement role.

The move is part of Envest’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its engagement with the insurance market and improve results for its network of partners and clients.

New placement leadership role introduced

Holly Scott (pictured), who previously served as head of carrier management, has been appointed to the new position. She will report directly to the Envest executive committee.

Travis Kemp, CEO of Aviso Group, will oversee the placement function at the executive level.

Kemp explained that the placement function is responsible for managing Envest’s interactions with the insurance market.

“The placement function provides oversight of how we engage and transact with the insurance marketplace. It guides the methods, strategies, and partnerships that ensure we achieve the best outcomes for clients in a sustainable and competitive market environment,” he said.

He added that the new role is designed to support the stability of Envest’s trading environment and reinforce its position in the market.

Envest will begin the search for a new head of carrier management to fill the vacancy left by Scott’s promotion.

Kemp also noted that Scott’s appointment is in line with Envest’s broader strategy to foster growth and maintain its leadership position in the insurance sector.

Network division realignment

The leadership changes follow a broader restructure of Envest’s Network division, which includes Resilium and PSC Network Partners.

The group has implemented a new leadership model intended to enhance alignment and support future expansion.

Craig Robson, CEO of Envest Networks, leads the Network division under the new structure.

In a previous statement, Robson said the changes are intended to bring together leadership for operations, finance, compliance, broking, and partnerships, all of which will report directly to him.

Leadership appointments and responsibilities

As part of the restructure, several leadership appointments have been made.

Ben Hastie, previously managing director of Resilium, became chief broker officer.

Hannah McRae-Williams of PSC Network Partners has been named chief operating officer.

David Penfold continues as director of PSC Connect in New Zealand.

Eoghan Trehy will remain as head of Resilium Partners, focusing on organic growth and mergers and acquisitions among equity partners.

Clive Kingsley moved from his role as finance manager at Resilium to become head of finance for Envest Networks.

Rachel Kerkvliet continues as compliance manager for Resilium, now reporting to Robson.

Tony Walker took on the position of non-executive chairman for Envest Networks.
