Aviso Specialty has confirmed a series of senior leadership and specialist appointments as part of its continued investment in long-term capability and growth, the company announced this week.
Patrick Moore (pictured top, left) has been appointed general manager, growth and client strategy, while Nick Turley (pictured top, centre) joins as state executive for Western Australia. Steven Autrey (pictured top, right) takes on the role of head of care, community and mission, Stephen Kerridge (pictured below, left) becomes head of mining and resources, and Dean Currie (pictured below, right) has been appointed head of people risk solutions.

The leaders have held department and business unit leadership roles at Lockton Pacific, according to a news release.
Moore has led national functions spanning sales, marketing, bid management, carrier engagement, and client strategy.
Turley brings industry experience and market relationships across a range of clients.
Autrey has leadership experience across care, community and mission-aligned sectors, supporting organisations operating in highly regulated environments.

Currie joins alongside Kerry Kostevski (pictured immediately above), account director. His appointment adds capability in the employee benefits market.
Kerridge has leadership experience across mining principals and complex, capital-intensive industries, with prior senior roles at Aon and JLT. He has worked for more than a decade with Dan Agostino, account director, and Peter Barron, who leads Aviso Specialty’s services to industry capability in Western Australia.
Travis Kemp, chief executive of Aviso Specialty, said the appointments reflect a disciplined and long-term approach to building the right capability for clients.
“These leaders are recognised for building high-performing teams and delivering client-first outcomes,” Kemp said. “They bring relationship-led advisory capability, strong technical depth, and extensive experience navigating local and global insurance markets on behalf of clients.”
Industry observers note the appointments come amid a period of consolidation and talent movement in the Australian insurance broking sector. Brokerages affiliated with the Aviso and Envest networks have been expanding through acquisitions and integration, including recent deals in regional markets and the reorganisation of related broking firms.
