Davies has appointed Adam Warwick as its new group chief information officer, effective October 6.

Warwick joins the specialist professional services and technology firm from Bravura, where he served as group chief technology and product officer.

Warwick brings more than 25 years of experience in technology leadership roles across the insurance and wealth management sectors. His previous positions include CIO roles at Aviva and Zurich. At Davies, he will oversee the company’s global technology strategy, including software development, cloud infrastructure, and investments in data and artificial intelligence.

As group CIO, Warwick will lead Davies’ senior technology leadership team, which includes group chief AI officer Paul O’Brien, group chief product officer John Salt, and enterprise chief information officer Darren Martin. He will report directly to group CEO Dan Saulter and will be part of the group executive committee.

“We’re delighted to welcome Adam to Davies. His leadership will be pivotal to accelerating our technology strategy, enhancing data-driven decision-making and delivering smarter, more agile solutions for our clients around the globe,” Saulter said.

Davies said that it is consolidating its software development, engineering, and technology teams under Warwick’s leadership. The firm has recently doubled its annual investment in artificial intelligence and generative AI as part of Davies’ Vision 2030 goals.

The appointment is part of a broader series of leadership changes at Davies this year. Earlier this month, the firm named Mark DiMaio as head of capital markets, expanding its consulting leadership team.

DiMaio, who previously led advisory businesses at Pelagic Strategic Partners LLC, is tasked with driving Davies’ global go-to-market strategy in banking and capital markets. His responsibilities include expanding consulting solutions across the US, Canada, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East.

In August, Davies also appointed Richard Barke as CEO of its Insurance Solutions division, where he is responsible for supervising operations and leading growth strategy.

Davies has also made changes in its captive management division. James Ferris was named CEO of the captive arm, effective July 1, succeeding Nick Frost, who moved into the position of chairman.
